Forgettable.MTL designs home decor for animal lovers who like to keep their ecological footprint to a minimum. Based out of Montreal, this brand spanking new store features handcrafted artwork made from recycled materials. Aside from their expanding collection of items, custom designs are also available.

Their motto? “One woman’s trash is another’s treasure”.

Through the use of adorable imagery combined with stylish craftsmanship, Forgettable.MTL works to transform forgettable materials into something meaningful and unique (hence the name).

 Forgettable.MTL‘s Mission & Vision

“My inspiration for doing animal art comes primarily from a place of just loving animals and finding them fun to paint. On a deeper level though, Scott and I both agree that being eco-conscious also means you have to find ways to enjoy being in (and with) nature on a more regular basis.

So, we design products that are helpful to the environment by recycling as much as possible. We are also creating products that help people interact with their pets and their surroundings.

Even when creating a design for a pillow case or an animal portrait, it forces people to stop and think about their pet’s personality and what they like most about them. And then of course we offer the cat condos and bird houses and are working on a design for a doggie den.”

Obsessed with cats? Join the club. Custom painting of my very own Angeline, the resemblance is uncanny.

Let’s be honest, shall we? We love our pets! Why not honor them with a beautiful portrait or embroidered pillow? Why not spoil them with their own personal condo that doubles as a scratching post? Custom artwork also makes for a very thoughtful gift for those who are notoriously hard to buy for, and we all know a few of those…

Forgettable.MTL is working on expanding their store, so be sure to check back frequently to see what’s new.  You can also keep up with them on Instagram.
