Hey Victoria, did you know that @delhiyyj is now 1 Hey Victoria, did you know that @delhiyyj is now 100% plant based? It’s actually our first and only all vegan Indian restaurant. I had the pleasure of trying the dahl makhani, chana masala, the vegetable medley (my fave!) and the yellow lentil with homemade naan bread. The food is hearty, delicious, and packed full of nutrients. The owners are also super friendly. They can tell you stories about various celebrities they met working on film sets over the years. Stop in and check out their portrait wall that they call the “wall of shame” of their Hollywood buddies. They are open for lunch (located at government and bay) or you can order delivery on Tutti! Now more than ever, we need to come together to support our local businesses 💜

Keep it local Victoria: 10 vegan-friendly businesses to support in 2021 is my latest blog where I share some of my favourite spots to frequent in the area. We have got a lot of new (and older!) local businesses just doing their best to stay afloat these days. While big chains are going to be just fine, let’s make sure to support the little guys. I like to highlight some all-vegan places as well as regular restaurants who try to be more inclusive by having great vegan options. Victoria: did you know we have a new board game ca Victoria: did you know we have a new board game cafe in town that serves up 1950s style vegan milkshakes using @parachuteicecream ? The owners are super nice so let’s show them some love! Check out @boardwithfriendscafe, (maybe once the restrictions lift?) Bonus points: they have Guess Who! They will also be participating in Dine Around Victoria and are planning to offer vegan options for that as well 👌👏
Christmas leftovers, but make it a pizza! Virtuous Christmas leftovers, but make it a pizza! Virtuous Pie’s holiday pizza is just that. Complete with Rosemary “chicken”, miso gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing, this limited edition pie is a real treat, if you ask me. @virtuous_pie

Just so you know, Victoria’s new bakery and cafe Just so you know, Victoria’s new bakery and cafe, @workingculturebread has wonderful vegan pretzels and great coffee, too. I hear the bread is also to die for. Looking forward to stopping by this spot again in the near future. (They also have vegan cookies 😊)
